Tom Schenk, director of analytics at KPMG, will be one of the featured speakers that the Iowa State University Library has invited to campus to celebrate Open Access Week, October 21-27, 2019. Schenk will address “Making Government Better Through Open Science: Real-life Examples of Truly Smarter Cities” from 5 to 6 pm on October 22nd in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union. Additionally, Schenk is interested in meeting on campus with groups interested in open data and smart cities. Meeting times will be available between 12:30 and 4:30 pm on the 22nd.
